Directions

We are located in the heart of the village, next door to the pub. Muker is about 20 miles west of Richmond, roughly a half hour leisurely drive through beautiful Swaledale or about 20 minutes north of Hawes over the Buttertubs pass. There is a car park just before the bridge at the entrance to the village and limited parking within the village itself.

From the village of Muker you can start a walk with a paved footpath that takes you across wild flower meadows to the river Swale where you can leisurely sit by the river and take in the wonderful scenery or cross over the bridge which takes you on a circular walk to the village of Keld and back. Below are some photos of the area surrounding the village of Muker in upper Swaledale.
