Swaledale Woollens

All wool used by Swaledale Woollens has been reared locally, sheared professionally and spun organically at the environmentally friendly Lanark Mill in Scotland. The mill generates its own hydro-electricity supply to power its 19th century spinning mule. The wool is sent back to us and distributed to our own knitters across North Yorkshire, who lovingly craft these ethical woollen garments. We carry on using local Swaledale and Wensleydale wool for our knitted garments. We have a wide range of high quality products, such as Sweaters, Cardigans, Hats, Gloves, Rugs, Hangings, Shawls, Scarves, Slippers and Socks. We also stock sheepskin slippers, gloves and rugs.
