We welcome your enquiries by post, telephone, email or in person at our unique shop which is open all year. We are located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, less than 20 miles from Richmond, where you can enjoy a walk on the hills and a browse round the shop.

We close at 4:00pm during November, December, January and February.

I have to tell you that I have been wearing slippers made by Swaledale Woollens for many years, and have never ceased to be delighted with them. My late father used to buy me a pair every Christmas (and often had up to 3 pairs in stock!). Apart from being comfortable and warm, they look good too!

This is just to let you know I have today received the gloves knitted in grey Welsh wool by Mary Hall. Just like the Navy Blue pair, they are perfect, and I am really pleased to have found Swaledale Woollens on the Internet! We had our first cold morning of the autumn today and I wore the gloves - ever so smart, snug fiitting, and really warm !
